Reviews from Past Guests
Review by Micah (Stayed in April)
“It was spotless, so clean sunny and bright. There was fresh hibiscus in vases dotted around the room... complimentary chocolates and a letter written to us with our name (spelt correctly I might add!) giving us the heads up about things regarding the property. We felt welcome and at home straight away and my husbands first words were ...”you did good” the bed was hotel style and all the linen was white and fresh!! There was even milk and a bottle of water in the fridge. Loved staying here and the setting is beautiful. They work tirelessly on their garden and you can tell they have done their best effort to fill the house with love 💕 we gave this place 5 stars ⭐️”

“My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at La Maisonette. The cottge was everything that is stated plus more.
A lovely location for anybody looking for a relaxing and quiet retreat but with all that Waiheke Isalnd has to offer just a stones throw away. Would recommend the 200m stroll to the Casita Miro Vineyard for a relaxing lunch and a glass or 2 of their fine wines. Richard and Ngaio certainly have gone out of their way to provide a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. We thoroughly recommend a stay at the La Maisonette.”

“We came to Waiheke island for a wedding that was held just a a 2 minute walk do the track, so it was ideally located. We meet the owner and we really enjoyed her lovely garden filled with a range of plants we cannot grow in Christchurch. We both love to walk so being a little out of the way was not an issue. The house was everything we expected and more. We would gladly recommend it any couple looking to stay on the island.”
