Reviews from Past Guests

Review by Gregor (Stayed in December)

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this property. It was a very homely, welcoming, 'green' base for walks around the bays and villages, with helpful and friendly (hand-written - nice) notes from the owner. We found ourselves wishing we had booked longer than the three nights. Facilities and equipment were good and plentiful, if getting on the 'retro' side these days (which was fine by us); excellent, unfailing WiFi; the mosquito net around the bed was very handy, the deck great for sitting out; and the property was well-situated for heading west or east on foot or bus to the beaches - though it was a bit longer on foot to Oneroa and Onetangi than indicated. Overall, though, atmospheric and enjoyable!

Review by Alison (Stayed in May)

We really enjoyed the property it was perfect for a couple. Ideally located in a quiet position with everything to make our stay comfortable including heaters on
both levels. We would definitely stay again.
