No smoking inside property, please.

There is a small step down from the dining area to the lounge. Be sure not to miss it as most are distracted by the view!

The deck on the lower level does not have railings, but is not more than 1M above the ground.

The home has internal stairs leading down to the 3rd bedroom. These are slightly narrower than usual and do not have a hand rail - access may be difficult for elderly or those less abled.

Well behaved& non-shedding pets may be permitted on request.

This is a privately owned holiday property and Waiheke Holiday Homes Ltd is the booking agent for it. Maintenance and servicing of this home is managed by the property owner or their property manager who will also be your contact person during your stay. Organisation from beginning to end was seamless - the home provided everything we needed, was extremely comfortable - I just loved the nice white clean bedding - spot on. I would certainly recommend. “Absolutely Stunning – A Perfect Stay at Kowhai Cottage!

We recently stayed at Kowhai Cottage while attending a wedding on Waiheke, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Traveling with our 4-month-old daughter, her grandparents (our built-in babysitters!), and two small dogs, we had quite the journey over on the ferry—but from the moment we stepped into the cottage, it was all worth it.

We were absolutely speechless when we pulled back the curtain and saw that view! The cottage itself is beautifully designed, stylishly furnished, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and in perfect working order, which made our stay completely stress-free.

We were so glad we decided to extend our trip beyond just the wedding at Man O’ War (as stunning as that was) because it gave us time to truly relax and explore the island. Kowhai Cottage was the perfect base—peaceful, cozy, and with a view we’ll never forget.
