“Gorgeous bach with fabulous views! Spotlessly clean and nice furnishings. Had plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery. We took our lab with us which was a real bonus and much appreciated. Outdoor furniture is very nice with plenty of seating. The only thing we missed was a proper vacuum cleaner (there is a small handheld vac). Great location. Thanks for sharing.”

“We loved the batch . Wonderful to take our Airedale Terrier with.
The Batch is bright , fresh and sunny with a spectacular view. It has a special ambience.
Close to amenities, yet quiet and serene.
Will return.

“This was our beautiful home away from home for 10 days over Xmas. The views are amazing from wherever you are in the house. Sit on the deck and watch tui, kereru and piwakawaka flying all around you.
Lots of little tracks nearby to go walking. A dairy at the bottom of the street and supermarket only 15 minutes walk away.
The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils you need for cooking.
Some previous reviews said the outdoor furniture was not up to scratch but everything we saw was clean and tidy so I think they’ve done some upkeep.
A perfect place to retreat if you are after some relaxation. We never wanted to leave!”

“An amazing spot, with wonderful views and a lovely big deck. So secluded and peaceful, yet just a short walk to Ostend. Beautifully fitted out, with really comfy furniture and bed. Everything you could want - we'd love to return!!”

“This place is the best! Stunning house, incredible location, even better than the photos. Can't wait to come back.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Bach 52, finding the house to be clean and comfortable, with spectacular views. Being June, it was chilly, and we were disappointed that the pot belly stove was not really functional. We were discouraged from using it by tales of smoking the house out, and the requirement to source wood from down at the service station (even though there seems to be plenty of wood stacked up under the house). We never used it, and judging by it's very rusted exterior, nobody else has used it for some time also. It would have been wonderful to have had a slow combustion furnace, to snuggle up and watch the flickering flames on a winter's night! Alas, even an extra blanket or two would have been appreciated. The driveway is problematic. A rental car was delivered to us and parked in the car area, but it took 4 attempts to reverse it out, due to the steepness of the driveway and the loose gravel. Needless to say, we parked it up on the street after that. Apart from these minor issues, we would highly recommend Bach 52, and would willingly stay there again if the opportunity to revisit Waiheke Island presents itself in the future.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay on beautiful Waiheke Island and in Bach 52. The inside of the house was clean, the bed is confortable and there is everything you need in the kitchen.
The outside was untidy and the property is definitely in need of some repair and maintenance. The windows really need to be cleaned. The outside furniture is not in very good shape.
The house is in an amazing location with a beautiful view over the water bay. It is a very quiet area and very well situated on the island.
Beautiful Island ! ””

“Once again we enjoyed our stay and found the bach inside clean and comfortable. The outside was untidy and sadly the property is in need of some repair and maintenance.
Thanks

“We spent a very happy 2 weeks here in an amazing location with totally stunning views over the water bay. its quiet and the property is in good condition although perhaps in need of a little attention just to bring it up to top standard. Specifically the terrace furniture has seen better days. The only other points that we would mention are take note that the entrance is steep and the drive needs some attention for a car to successfully get on and off. The bedroom (in summer) is also very hot so we bought a fan locally that was a true blessing at night. Overall the property is well worth visiting, lights up beautifully at night, very clean and we would recommend it to all along with the local vineyards and beautiful bays. Enjoy this beautiful Island! ”

“We had a very enjoyable stay. Perfect location, great walking, but times shown for drive to palm beach and oneroa are a little ambitious! There are so many lovely walking tracks on the island, all with little surprise views and special character. Love the little path outside the gate to the left which connects with the bottom road and old Ostend wharf. There are so many wonderful photography and painting opportunities here. The view out the windows is unreal, as is the antics of the tuis. Relaxed so much, I lost my cell phone! Should you find it , just let the Bach people know. And our dogs loved being able to stay with us. Thank you so much. Definitely would stay again.”

“Well I guess you want general feedback as there did not seem to be one of those boring, formal forms attached! Suffice to say the representation of the property on your website is very accurate and in fact one of the few we could say that about. We found the property clean, well equipped and perfect for our stay. The weather was perfect too although I'm not sure you arranged that! We would like to return and may well do so.”

“We adored it! The view – the layout – it was warm and how the light played throughout the house during the day was spectacular. We loved the island – the food the cycling and the beaches! We couldn’t of asked for a better honeymoon destination.”
