Orapiu - Otakawhe Bay - Eastern End The Eastern End of Waiheke is wonderfully quiet and well and truly ‘away from it all? Only about 15 ?20 mins pleasant drive on tar sealed road through beautiful farmland and featuring glorious views all the way. Orapiu has a public wharf (very popular for fishermen) and a small beach which has nice swimming at most tides except low. Otakawhe Bay is just a couple of minutes drive from Orapiu wharf. Lots of rural walking can be done in the area. Visit Stony Batter and Man ‘o War Bay.
