Sandy Bay & Enclosure Bay A favourite for those who looking for peace and tranquillity with safe, all-tide swimming and white sand Sandy Bay is located half way between Oneroa and Palm Beach, just 4 kms by road from Oneroa Village. An excellent beach for families and small children. Walk to Oneroa along Coastal Walkway. Enclosure Bay is just 100 metres or so along the road from Sandy Bay. Almost enclosed by rocks, it’s like a huge, crystal clear swimming pool at high tide and is wonderful for rock clambering at low tide. Good snorkelling can be found off Sandy Bay and in Enclosure Bay.
