The free public Gas BBQ’s and picnic tables provide a favourite meeting place as do the General Store Café and the lovely new Zora Café. Onetangi can usually be relied upon to provide some small waves for body boarding and is home to the Onetangi Beach Races, held in March each year, where horses and tractors race along the beach!
