This absolutely delicious character property sits high above Rocky Bay and incorporates an original, renovated railway carriage as well as a modern Waiheke cottage! The views are amazing and it is a truly unique experience! Only three minute walk to either of two beaches, Mary Wilson Park just below (with playground and good area to kick a ball around), there is a dinghy available for guest use at the main Rocky Bay Crusing Club dingy stand and tennis racquets are available for the nearby public tennis court. The property is accessed via a steep footpath track (about 3 or 4 zigs and a couple of zags some distance from the road). The railway carriage is attached to the cottage via a couple of steps. Within the carriage is a separate cabin with 2 single built in beds. Walk through this cabin into the main carriage which is quite spacious and includes dining table and a comfy double sofa bed. The bathroom is just inside the door of the cottage, easily accessed from the carriage. Within the cottage and up a few stairs from the bathroom and entry is a spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen and bedroom which has wide French doors opening onto the north facing deck. Magnificent sea and bay views are to be had from the Cottage, the deck and the Carriage. Situated on the bus route, this lovely, sunny accommodation is sure to make happy holiday memories!

• NOTE: Elderly or disabled persons could find the access difficult.
